Remote Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

Walrus Health is expanding its pharmacist team to deliver data‑driven clinical services through a digital platform. As a Remote Clinical Pharmacist you will engage with members online, help them manage medications, and support cost‑effective care.

Key responsibilities

• Review claims data and automated clinical alerts to make evidence‑based medication recommendations.
• Guide members in downloading and using the Walrus app and conduct digital clinical engagements.
• Refer members to employer‑sponsored programs when appropriate.
• Provide therapy recommendations to providers and collaborate with internal teams on projects.
• Assist in developing internal clinical tools and member‑facing products.
• Participate in client and prospect calls as needed and provide coverage outside normal hours when required.

Required profile

• PharmD or equivalent advanced degree and active pharmacist license in a US state.
• Residency training (PGY‑1 or PGY‑2) with at least 2 years of patient‑facing experience.
• Strong analytical ability, good judgment, and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical therapy, drug administration, and disease‑state management.
• Willingness to travel occasionally despite the remote work setting.
