Registered Respiratory Therapist – Sign‑on Bonus up to $30,000

About the role

The position provides comprehensive respiratory care for pediatric patients at Lehigh Valley Hospital‑Cedar Crest. New graduates may receive up to $20,000 and experienced therapists up to $30,000 as a sign‑on bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Administer critical and general respiratory therapy, including mechanical ventilator and Bi‑PAP management.
• Perform respiratory assessments, aerosol medication delivery, arterial blood gas studies, and pulse‑oximetry monitoring.
• Maintain equipment inventory, troubleshoot devices, and ensure proper stock of respiratory supplies.
• Educate patients on sleep apnea therapy, CPAP mask fitting, and nocturnal sleep studies.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree from an NBRC‑accredited RRT program; RRT certification within 1 year of hire.
• Licensure and certifications for Pennsylvania: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and RCP within specified time frames.
• Ability to lift 40‑50 lb, stand/walk for long periods, and perform patient transfers.

Required skills
