Registered Radiology Technologist (PRN)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a PRN Registered Radiology Technologist to join the Lorain Family Health Surgery Center. You will perform general radiology exams, portable imaging, and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety and high‑quality images.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general radiology, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce accurate, high‑quality images and transmit them via PACS.
• Educate patients on procedures, ensure comfort, and maintain documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with management and help desk.
• Assist with scheduling, patient prioritization, and billing processes.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Required skills

• Operation of x‑ray equipment and portable imaging devices.
• Use of PACS for image acquisition, archiving, transmission, and printing.
• Performance of fluoroscopic procedures.
• Patient positioning and safety protocols.
• Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance reporting.
