Registered Radiology Technologist

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Radiology Technologist to join Avon Hospital. You will operate a variety of imaging equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general, portable, and fluoroscopic radiology exams using stationary units, mobile machines, C‑arms and fluoroscopy systems.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment, ensuring their understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation, address equipment malfunctions, and coordinate with management and technical support.
• Assist with scheduling, prioritize cases, and process billing as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Operation of stationary and mobile x‑ray units, C‑arms and fluoroscopy systems.
• Proficiency with PACS for image acquisition, archiving and transmission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
