Registered Radiology Technologist – Evening Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a Registered Radiology Technologist to join its Magnet‑recognized radiology department. This evening position works 10‑ or 12‑hour shifts, providing high‑quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic exams, producing diagnostic‑quality images.
• Operate x‑ray equipment, acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Educate patients on procedures, ensure proper positioning, and monitor radiation dose.
• Assist with scheduling, prioritize cases, and support billing processes.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with the help desk and PACS administrator.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of experience in general radiography preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with x‑ray and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Experience using PACS for image management.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose optimization.
• Ability to lift and assist patients of varying weights.
