About the role

The Registered Polysomnographic Technician will join the Ancillary Sleep Disorder team at Indian River Hospital, providing comprehensive sleep testing and patient care during night shifts. This position supports accurate diagnosis of sleep disorders and contributes to improving patient access and reducing wait times.

Key responsibilities

Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, scoring analysis, and related interventions.
Supervise Polysomnographic Technicians and trainees, ensuring protocol compliance.
Prepare, calibrate, and maintain sleep study equipment, including PAP mask fitting.
Document pre‑ and post‑sleep questionnaires, technician notes, and procedural observations.

Required profile

High School Diploma or GED.
Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum three years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist.

Required skills

Polysomnography testing and scoring.
Sleep study equipment calibration and maintenance.
PAP and oxygen titration procedures.
Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
