Registered Nurse – Telemetry Unit (Monroe, LA)

About the role

The Telemetry Unit in Monroe seeks a Registered Nurse to lead patient care using the nursing process, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The RN will coordinate a multidisciplinary team to achieve high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, effective patient care.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and staff.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Utilize data and evidence‑based information to drive improvements and optimal outcomes.
• Adapt interactions to respect patient privacy, cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
• Perform additional duties as required to support unit and departmental goals.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
