About the role
Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction, is hiring a full-time day shift Registered Nurse for its telemetry unit. The RN provides patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients, planning, directing and evaluating nursing care while following established standards, policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers).
- NIHSS certification.
- Two years of telemetry experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care and assess patients to build a standard of care and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing plan.
- Perform initial assessments and ongoing reassessments to meet patients' changing needs.
- Ensure accurate documentation, adequate supplies and knowledge of equipment operation.
- Act as educator for peers, patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
