About the role

Join Ochsner Medical Center's Gastroenterology team as a Registered Nurse on the Surgical Stepdown Unit, providing compassionate care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality patient outcomes.
Exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions.
Maintain involvement in activities aimed toward achieving unit and department strategic goals.
Demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability for nursing practice.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Current State of Louisiana Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
