Join Ochsner Health as a Registered Nurse on the Surgical Stepdown Unit at OMC, Jeff Hwy. You will provide high‑quality patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, effective patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary partners.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while leading the nursing team.
• Use data and evidence‑based practice to drive improvements and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain cultural sensitivity and respect patient privacy in all interactions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• No prior work experience required.
