Registered Nurse – Substance Use Disorder Treatment

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our inpatient addiction treatment unit in Mishawaka, Indiana. In this full‑time position you will provide direct clinical care, lead a multidisciplinary team, and support patients on their path to recovery from substance use disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and daily nursing care to adult inpatient addiction patients.
• Assess, orient, and develop individualized plans of care for new admissions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, lab staff, and other professionals to coordinate and update treatment plans.
• Generate, review, and reconcile monthly medication administration records (MARs).
• Participate in creating a therapeutic milieu and act as a liaison for patients and families to community resources.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and comply with facility policies.
• Contribute to discharge planning from day one of admission.

Required profile

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in substance use disorder or addiction treatment.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership and supervise nursing staff.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
