Registered Nurse – Specialty PACU – Per Diem

About the role

The Registered Nurse 1 – Specialty – Per Diem delivers patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent manner, using evidence‑based standards of quality, safety, and service while addressing the specific needs of the PACU population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and evaluate care plans.
• Report changes in patients’ condition, vital signs, and symptoms.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and physician orders.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering age and culture.
• Administer medications and perform patient tests safely within scope of practice.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the care team while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid State of Florida RN license.
• No prior experience required.
