Registered Nurse (RN) – Substance Use Disorder Treatment

About the role

Renewal Falls Recovery Center in Cedar Falls, IA is launching a premier substance‑use disorder treatment facility. As a Registered Nurse you will join the founding clinical team and deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in a collaborative, trauma‑informed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on admission and throughout treatment.
• Administer medications safely according to provider orders.
• Monitor patients during detoxification and residential care, responding to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, behavioral health technicians, and case management staff.
• Provide patient education on medications, recovery, wellness, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and crisis situations.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, state regulations, and company policies.

Required profile

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Required skills
