Recovery Coach Supervisor

About the role

The Recovery Coach Supervisor leads the Recovery Support Services team at Renewal Falls Recovery Center, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role blends staff development, operational oversight, and patient‑centered care to uphold the center’s evidence‑based mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for Behavioral Health Technicians and Recovery Support Specialists.
• Conduct regular supervision meetings, annual evaluations, and address performance issues in partnership with HR.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of recovery support staff.
• Develop staffing schedules that guarantee safe and effective program coverage.
• Oversee daily recovery support operations, patient engagement activities, and ensure consistency of program routines.
• Serve as a resource for staff on patient concerns, behavioral issues, and operational challenges.
• Participate in policy development, quality‑improvement initiatives, and leadership meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising behavioral health or recovery‑oriented staff.
• Strong understanding of substance‑use disorder treatment environments and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and patient‑centered care.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work with clinical, nursing, admissions, and operations teams.
