Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics (0.75 FTE)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide pediatric nursing care in a 0.75 FTE position at Shriners Children’s Northern California. You will work in a multidisciplinary, family‑centered environment delivering high‑quality care to children with orthopaedic, surgical, burn, and cleft lip/palate needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver direct patient care for assigned pediatric patients.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and transitions.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and document all phases of nursing care following the Shriners Professional Practice Model.
• Serve as a preceptor and provide informal or formal leadership to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in the United States.
• Knowledge of ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, critical thinking, and patient safety.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented pediatric setting.
