About the role

Join Ochsner Baptist as a Registered Nurse on the Rapid Response team, working both day and night shifts. You will lead patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and help achieve unit and department goals.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide appropriate education.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
Communicate and manage nursing team resources effectively.
Apply data and knowledge to promote change and optimal outcomes.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
No prior work experience required.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
