Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Stepdown Unit

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital, a Magnet‑recognized facility, and provide stellar patient care in the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU). The unit serves cardiac and renal patients, specializing in peritoneal dialysis, and offers a warm healing environment. As an RN you will support patients from admission through discharge while collaborating with families and the care team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac and renal patients.
• Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans.
• Record and communicate patients’ conditions and progress.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders, including medication administration.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families, respecting cultural considerations.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
