About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Kids First program in Searcy, AR. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides flexible, on‑call nursing support for pediatric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to children and families in a fast‑paced clinical setting.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and manage IV therapy as needed.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and adhere to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health staff, and support teams to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergent situations and provide timely interventions.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Availability to work on a PRN (as‑needed) basis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
