About the role

Join the team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will provide critical monitoring and care for patients emerging from surgery in a state‑of‑the‑art recovery environment.

Key responsibilities

Monitor patients' vital signs, heart rhythm, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and breathing as anesthesia wears off.
Assess pain levels, administer medications, and document all observations and interventions.
Implement and update patient care plans, coordinate discharge needs, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure.
Minimum one year of acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency in monitoring cardiac rhythm, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory status.
