About the role
Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, and coordinate treatment plans within a high‑performing, safety‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course to ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Participate in evidence‑based practice, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects.
- Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns, delegating tasks based on skill and patient acuity.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple patient assignments safely.
- Successful completion of orientation programs and maintenance of unit‑specific competencies.
Required skills
- Basic computer proficiency.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (required upon hire).
