About the role
Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care, assess and manage patient needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Magnet® Hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, coordinating with physicians and team members.
- Provide patient and family education throughout treatment to ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Participate in evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, and research projects.
- Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns, delegating tasks based on skill and patient acuity.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license (PA) upon hire.
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain clinical competency for the patient population served.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
