About the role

Join Ochsner Health as a Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic Surgery Clinic on Jeff Hwy. You will lead patient care using the nursing process while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver high‑quality patient care.
Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients and families.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
Communicate and manage nursing team resources effectively.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Clinical specialty certification (preferred).
