About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for its 5S Orthopaedics Unit. This night‑shift position provides direct patient care to individuals with bone, joint and connective‑tissue conditions.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and execute physician and nursing orders.
Develop, monitor, and update patient care plans while documenting patient conditions and progress.
Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure safe hand‑offs during shift changes.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure in Florida.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and medication administration.
