About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 5N Oncology Unit at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. This day‑shift position provides direct care to oncology patients and their families, supporting the entire treatment journey from admission to discharge.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care, administer prescribed medications and chemotherapy treatments, and monitor patient conditions.
Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans, and coordinate discharge planning and education for patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure in Florida.
At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Completion of an Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemo/Bio course within two years of hire.
