About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7th Floor Med/Surg and Observation Unit at South Pointe Hospital. You will provide comprehensive care to adult patients with a wide range of diagnoses, from admission through discharge, while working alongside experienced caregivers.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Required profile

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
  • At least one year of acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered).
