Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (Night Shift)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital is seeking a night‑shift Registered Nurse for its 4D Medical Unit, a complex medical‑care and telemetry unit serving adult and behavioral health patients. You will provide direct patient care, education, and coordination throughout the patient journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, implement and update patient care plans, and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post‑discharge care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and at least one year of acute‑care RN experience (or military RN experience).
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for critical‑care areas.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if applicable).
• RN licensure and ability to administer medications and perform clinical assessments.
