Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (Night Shift)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Mentor Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Med/Surg unit on the night shift (7:00 pm‑7:30 am). You will provide direct care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions and surgical needs in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions; adjust plans to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families, considering cultural and special concerns.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow physician and nursing orders.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Minimum one year of acute‑care RN experience in a hospital setting (military RN experience considered).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work nights with rotating weekends and holidays.
