Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical – Night Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 4 East Medical/Surgical unit at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm‑7:00 am) offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a collaborative, high‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and execute physician and nursing orders.
• Develop, monitor, and update patient care plans while documenting patient conditions accurately.
• Assess discharge needs, coordinate transitions of care, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience (military RN experience considered).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in medication administration and patient monitoring.
