Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele (Full-Time, Day Shift)

About the role

AdventHealth in Denver is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Med Surg Tele position, working day shifts. The role covers assessment, care planning, medication administration and patient education in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reviewing them regularly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and follow physician orders and hospital protocols
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety and regulatory requirements
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate care to other team members
• Respond promptly to code situations and take part in performance improvement activities

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing)
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required

Pay range: $34.60 - $59.83.
