Registered Nurse - LDRP - Regional Float Pool (Night Shift)

About the role

AdventHealth in Denver is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Regional Float Pool, working night shifts. The position is open to eligible clinicians who can join the Clinical Ladder Program, which offers salary increases of up to 20% based on experience, professional development and achievement of advancement criteria (participation is voluntary). The pay range is $34.60 to $59.83.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly reviewing and revising them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• EKG certification (requirements depend on the patient; see the EKG and Advanced Life Support requirements document).
