Registered Nurse – LDRP – Part‑Time Days – $5K Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

AdventHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) team on a part‑time, day‑shift schedule in Parker, Colorado. The role focuses on delivering holistic, patient‑centered care while supporting families through the childbirth experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitor for adverse reactions, and follow physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient interactions and outcomes.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust interventions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members.
• Respond promptly to code situations and deliver necessary interventions.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure and knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective verbal communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑player attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a unit.

Required skills

• EKG interpretation (as required per patient documentation).
