Registered Nurse III - PRN

About the role

The Registered Nurse III provides comprehensive nursing services for the Nursing Mobile Clinic program, delivering patient care, evaluations, and treatment to students, faculty, staff, and community members. This temporary, part‑time position operates in Bryan or Crockett, Texas, with flexible scheduling based on need.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessments, and treatment in accordance with professional nursing standards.
• Operate and maintain the Mobile Clinic, managing inventory of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
• Drive to schools and homes to deliver services, ensuring sterilization of instruments and accurate patient record management.
• Participate in community outreach, program meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Nursing (or equivalent) and Texas RN license in good standing.
• Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification and ability to obtain a Texas Class C driver’s license within 30 days.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic health records, preferably eCW.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
