Registered Nurse III – East Texas Mobile Clinic

About the role

The Registered Nurse III provides comprehensive nursing services for the East Texas Nursing Mobile Clinic. Working under general supervision, the RN delivers patient care, evaluations, and treatment to students, faculty, staff, community members, and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessments, and treatments in accordance with professional nursing standards.
• Operate and maintain the Mobile Clinic, including inventory management of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
• Deliver preventative health education to patients and community members.
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Participate in reflective practice and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Nursing (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Texas RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• State of Texas Class C vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Experience with eCW electronic health record software (preferred).
• Knowledge of word processing applications.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
