Associate Vice President – Life Sciences Transformation

About the role

The Associate Vice President will lead the Life Sciences consulting practice in New York, driving business growth, high‑impact client engagements and the firm’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own P&L for the Life Sciences vertical, managing revenue, margin and resource utilization.
• Lead large‑scale transformation programs such as operating model redesign, digital transformation, commercial effectiveness and M&A integration.
• Develop new business opportunities, build client relationships and win proposals/RFPs.
• Mentor and manage high‑performing consulting teams and foster a culture of excellence.
• Represent the firm at industry events and create thought‑leadership content for the life‑sciences sector.

Required profile

• MS or MBA (life‑sciences focus preferred) with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in business development and a strong network in pharma, biotech or medtech.
• Experience leading and managing large‑scale transformation efforts.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• AI and analytics tools.
• Generative AI (GenAI) use cases in R&D, commercial or clinical operations.
• Digital transformation and automation technologies.

• Base salary $204,000‑$216,000 per year plus discretionary bonus (0‑40%).
