Registered Nurse – ICU (Day/Night Rotation)

About the role

Join the 16‑bed Intensive Care Unit at South Pointe Hospital, a Magnet‑recognized facility, to provide high‑quality care to critically ill patients. The position works on a day/night rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, updating plans of care as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families, considering cultural and special concerns.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience in a hospital setting (military RN experience considered).
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within one year of hire.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
