Registered Nurse - ER, Regional Float Pool (Night Shift)

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Emergency Room regional float pool, working night shifts in Denver, Colorado. The position is open to eligible clinicians and offers a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for full-time status only.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reviewing and revising them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Nursing (required).
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• EKG certification (based on patient; see the EKG and Advanced Life Support requirements document).
