Registered Nurse – ENT Clinic – Full Time

About the role

Ochsner is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its ENT Clinic in the Baptist facility. This full‑time position provides direct patient care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and supports the organization’s mission of exceptional, compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care in the ENT clinic.
• Assess patient learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Delegate, supervise, and collaborate with licensed and ancillary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and Ochsner’s policies.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Leadership and delegation skills to guide nursing team resources.
