Registered Nurse – Emergency Services Night Shift (Kings Hwy)

About the role

The position is a 12‑week assignment as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services unit on Kings Highway, working the night shift in Shreveport, Louisiana. The RN will lead patient care using the Nursing Process, adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Delegate, direct and assist licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a diverse patient population.
• Communicate, educate and adapt interactions to respect cultural, ethnic and religious diversity.
• Utilize data and evidence‑based practices to drive improvements and meet unit strategic goals.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications; CPI certification within 30 days of hire.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software applications and web‑based systems.
• Ability to collect, analyze and apply data to improve patient care outcomes.
