Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

About the role

The Emergency Room at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care to patients of all ages during the evening shift. You will work directly with patients and families, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and administer medications and treatments.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge needs, and follow physician and nursing orders.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• At least one year of acute care or Emergency Department experience, or equivalent military RN experience.
• Ability to work the 3:00 pm – 3:00 am shift with rotating weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
