About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in the OMC Iberville Freestanding Emergency Department on a mid‑shift schedule (12 PM‑12 AM). This full‑time position involves leading the nursing process, delegating to team members, and ensuring quality outcomes while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and assess learning needs.
Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve unit and departmental goals.
Adapt communication and care approaches to diverse patient populations.

Required profile

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Commitment to obtain CPI certification within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.
Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
