About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care on a part‑time, day‑shift schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients in the ED.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs promptly.
- Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
- Participate in performance improvement processes and evidence‑based practice projects.
- Teach, mentor, and precept new colleagues and interns as assigned.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver safe patient care in a fast‑paced environment.
- Successful completion of unit‑specific orientation and competency assessments.
Required skills
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required upon hire).
- Basic computer skills for electronic health record documentation.
