About the role
This hybrid position blends front‑desk administrative duties, patient care, and diagnostic imaging expertise. As the first point of contact, you will ensure smooth patient flow, high‑quality service, and accurate imaging while supporting providers and clinical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate patient check‑in/check‑out, verify insurance, collect payments, and schedule appointments.
- Maintain EMR accuracy, record vital signs, and document patient information for providers.
- Room patients, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures and examinations.
- Perform diagnostic imaging, operate and maintain radiologic equipment, and follow radiation safety protocols.
- Provide patient education, reassurance, and post‑discharge follow‑up calls.
Required profile
- Technical School Diploma or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (AART).
- At least 2 years of diagnostic imaging experience in a healthcare setting.
- Registered Technologist (RT) certification and BLS certification (within 30 days of hire).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation physics, and clinical workflows.
Required skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Experience using radiology PACS software.
- Familiarity with scheduling platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to follow HIPAA, OSHA, and radiation safety guidelines.
