Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

About the role

Join the Emergency Department at Euclid Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, providing 24‑hour acute care on a night shift (7 pm‑7:30 am). You will deliver direct nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and record patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing protocols, carry out physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families, considering cultural and special concerns, and communicate updates to the care team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required within 24 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – required within one year of hire.
