About the role

The Registered Nurse will work in the 24/7 Emergency Department at Avon Hospital, providing comprehensive care to adults and children. This full‑day shift role involves direct patient interaction, education, and coordination of care.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and document patient conditions.
Assess discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
Current RN licensure and at least one year of acute care or ED experience.
Basic Life Support certification; ACLS and PALS required within one year of hire.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
