About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute seeks a Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced gastrointestinal care. You will work on one of several specialized units, providing direct patient care from admission through discharge.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and execute physician and nursing orders.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions, update care plans, and coordinate discharge needs.
Educate patients and families about their conditions and post‑discharge care.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute‑care RN experience (military experience considered).

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and medication administration.
