Registered Nurse – Dermatology Clinic

About the role

Join Ochsner Health as a Registered Nurse in our Dermatology Clinic, providing compassionate patient care while supporting the clinic’s strategic goals. You will work within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards to deliver high‑quality nursing services.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Identify learning needs and deliver education to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing resources effectively.
• Utilize data and evidence‑based practices to drive improvements in patient outcomes.
• Promote patient satisfaction and uphold professional nursing standards.
• Adapt interactions to respect cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
• Perform additional duties as required to support clinic operations.

Required profile

• Registered Nursing diploma (required); Associate’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior experience required; supervisory or management experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and judgment skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
