About the role

This position leads patient care on the Day Surgery Center at Jefferson Highway, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The RN collaborates with a diverse, inclusive team to deliver exceptional, compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

Use the nursing process to deliver patient care and assess learning needs.
Delegate, direct and assist licensed and ancillary team members, managing both human and fiscal resources.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, using data to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
Embrace concepts that enhance patient satisfaction and employee morale.
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations, accreditation standards and company policies.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency with computers, software and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
