Registered Nurse - Concierge, Full-Time Nights

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction, is hiring a Registered Nurse (Concierge) for full-time night shifts. Within nursing services, the RN provides patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients, planning, directing and evaluating nursing care while following established objectives, standards, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers).
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Ability to lift and move patients and heavy equipment, including pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs and carrying or lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a stressful environment, make sound decisions independently and work with attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care and assess patients to build a standard of care and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing plan.
• Ensure accurate documentation, adequate supplies and knowledge of equipment operation.
• Act as educator to peers, patients and their families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Threshold requirements completed annually: annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements including new employee orientation, TB/PPD surveillance program maintenance, and maintenance of required professional licenses and certifications.
