About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for its high‑acuity Cardiovascular Stepdown units (J61 and J63). These 24‑bed telemetry units care for post‑open‑heart, surgical and ventricular assist device patients in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and execute physician and nursing orders.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and update individualized patient care plans while documenting patient conditions.
- Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current state RN licensure.
- At least one year of acute‑care RN experience (military RN experience considered).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current state Registered Nurse licensure.
