About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room team at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. This full‑time position works days from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with on‑call responsibilities, providing direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, and update patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Document patients’ conditions, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes to the care team.
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and discharge needs.

Required profile

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum of one year recent RN experience in a cardiovascular operating room.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).
